Subject: using \doublecolumns in eplain
In double column, I wanted each column to be of width 3.25 inch
and with 1 pc gutter.
I tried using \hsize and \gutter after I call \doublecolumns, but the
two columns started overlapping. The following values are what I
used:
\hsize=3.25truein
\gutter = 1pc
Is there any way to fix the overlapping problem?
While I am at it, is there another macro beside \center that
can center a text message longer than a line into multiple centered
lines. When I used \center I (sort of)
get the first line right justifed and the second line left justified.
Thanks.
